Zero-Media-Collection Privacy Policy
Effective Date: August 2026 · Strictly Compliant with GDPR / CCPA Zero-Data Standards
webmtomp3.com does not collect, transmit, store, or inspect your audio files. All operations—including EBML demuxing, Opus decoding, PCM resampling, LAME MP3 encoding, and postflight verification—take place exclusively in your device's client-side browser runtime.
- No file upload endpoints exist in this web application.
- File names, duration, and metadata never leave your computer.
- Converted MP3s you keep in Local History are stored only in this browser (IndexedDB) until you remove them or clear history; other working memory is released by the browser.
2. Usage Analytics and Masked Session Replay
This website uses Google Analytics for page metrics and Microsoft Clarity for usage analytics, heatmaps, and session replay. These services may collect page interactions, device information, and cookies. The converter area is masked to protect filenames and file details; your audio files are still processed locally and are never uploaded. See Microsoft's Privacy Statement.
Like all web sites, static assets (HTML, CSS, JavaScript bundles) are delivered via edge CDN hosting infrastructure. The CDN hosting provider automatically receives ordinary HTTP request metadata (such as your IP address, browser User-Agent header, and request timestamp) solely to deliver static assets and protect against DDoS attacks.
No audio payload or file bytes are ever included in HTTP requests.
